Soo... any thoughts on this? It's good that the mesmer issue in pve was adressed officially. I'd never heard of that dragon before. WHere is he exactly and what does he usually drop?

yeah i'm glad they put that in there mesmers are fun and extremely effective yet what they actually contribute to a party mainly goes unnoticed because you're not seeing metors falling from the sky ect. I had a mesmer and always appreciate them in a group... but had to delete because it was just annoying with the attitude towards them.

The thing is, the people that have the knowledge to find/read the scribe are for the most part the same people that already know not to kick a mesmer out of their groups. Maybe the scribe should instead preach with a megaphone in the most wammo-infested outposts? (don't kill me, I play a w/mo too)

That's true they should make the Scribe more noticeable or something... Since it is an In-Game type of thing perhaps they could even put it on the log in page along with the other information. I know FFXI has it's newspaper type thing like that.

The sentence you quote is precisely why the Scribe needs better editing.

I'm disappointed that there are still editing errors in this issue (as opposed to matters of opinion, since the thread on the previous issue established that mine doesn't matter )

I came up with an idea a looooong time ago (and even posted it either here or GWO) about this sort of thing.

Ya know those Town Criers in Pre-Sear? Put them everywhere, and give them a job; they will deliver the days news to people when they talk to a crier. It's so simple, but it would get word out about the scribe, new updates, game related news like gvg tournaments, etc.

I still think it's as good an idea as I did all those months ago.
